Extra Murals
We offer a diverse range of extramural activities to preschoolers, including dance, soccer, art, and Monkeynastix, fostering their development by enhancing social skills, creativity, physical coordination, and a love for learning.
Extramural activities occur after the children have had a lunch from 12:30 onwards.
Extra Mural classes are optional, and payment of these classes are made directly to the service provider
Monkeynastix
Monkeynastix is a gymnastics and movement education programme for 2–8-year-olds.

Monkeynastix Cape Town has been running for 21 years and we pride ourselves on good service, safe and fun classes. Our children learn through play and we aim to develop healthy self-esteem through spatial orientation, gross and fine motor co-ordination, balance, crossing the midline, flexibility and strength and much more!

A division of Sports, Soccercise Starz, our program has become a recognised symbol of excellence in its field. Our program enriches, supports and celebrates the youth of today and the ‘Starz’ of tomorrow.

We are committed to improving the player’s general ball skills, soccer skills, fitness, co-ordination and confidence by coaching in a fun, constructive, team environment.
Soccercise Starz provides an early training platform for children aged 2–8 years old. Our trained coaches will provide skills needed for youngsters to become more confident on the sports field.
Children will be taught basic soccer skills which assists in developing: concentration, eye strength, muscle development, muscle memory, and gross motor skills.

Canvas Club
Canvas Club is a fun, age-appropriate creative crafting classes.
We sing, dance, play games... and make a unique themed craft to take home every week, from rockets, to puppets to soft toys.
We work with a variety of different materials; from clay and cardboard to paint, tinfoil and pipe-cleaners to name a few, exposing your child to new textures and colours in every class.
Our curriculum was developed by an Occupational Therapist, Architect, Engineer and Artist with a large focus on imaginative and sensory play as well as developing emotional, social and physical performance skills. We also give our clients loads of ideas to turn everyday items into awesome crafts and toys at home.
Most importantly, we have loads of fun!
Step it up Dance Academy is a fun, age-appropriate dance class.
Structured on Ballet principles, dance is taught using props and imagery. This introduces children to movement and musicality. Our program develops confidence, posture, rhythm, co-ordination and motor skills.
