Extra Murals
We offer a diverse range of extramural activities to preschoolers, including dance, soccer, art, and Monkeynastix, fostering their development by enhancing social skills, creativity, physical coordination, and a love for learning.
Extramural activities occur after the children have had a lunch from 12:30 onwards.
Extra Mural classes are optional, and payment of these classes are made directly to the service provider
Monkeynastix
Monkeynastix is a gymnastics and movement education programme for 2–8-year-olds.

Monkeynastix Cape Town has been running for 21 years and we pride ourselves on good service, safe and fun classes. Our children learn through play and we aim to develop healthy self-esteem through spatial orientation, gross and fine motor co-ordination, balance, crossing the midline, flexibility and strength and much more!

A division of Sports, Soccercise Starz, our program has become a recognised symbol of excellence in its field. Our program enriches, supports and celebrates the youth of today and the ‘Starz’ of tomorrow.

We are committed to improving the player’s general ball skills, soccer skills, fitness, co-ordination and confidence by coaching in a fun, constructive, team environment.
Soccercise Starz provides an early training platform for children aged 2–8 years old. Our trained coaches will provide skills needed for youngsters to become more confident on the sports field.
Children will be taught basic soccer skills which assists in developing: concentration, eye strength, muscle development, muscle memory, and gross motor skills.

Monique Pelser
Art Classes
I am Monique Pelser a local Cape Town based artist with an active studio practice.
I have been teaching art at universities and privately since 2006 and started working with children in 2020 when I started Doodles Daily Drawing. I
host holiday workshops and parties for children based on art making. In 2024 I worked with the Canvas Club as a substitute teacher and taught creative crafting at 3 nursery schools. I love my job! https://www.facebook.com/DoodlesDailyDrawing
The classes will be full of art making: drawing, cutting, sticking, building and painting.
We will end off the last 5 minutes of the class dancing to a song.
